Hey there! I’m Shnehil, a graphic designer based in the heart of Lancashire.
After creating invites for a birthday and signage for a friend’s wedding, I finally took the plunge to create Elegantly Made Co, a wedding stationery and signage business.
Design has been a big part of my life since high school - I’ll always be grateful to my Design Tech teacher for pushing me to my boundaries!
From high school, I went on to do A Levels in 3D Design, as well as Maths and Physics, initially wanting to become an architect (I know, I can’t believe it either). After realising how long it REALLY takes to become a fully fledged architect, I swapped my course to Product Design, a day before I started uni. I discovered a love for Photoshop and Illustrator, enjoying the digital side more than I ever thought I would.
Then hit COVID. I got my degree but lost my part time job and with such a difficult job market at the time, I decided to further my studies and undertook a Masters Degree in Graphic Design. This is where things really changed for me - I discovered a love for calligraphy when I decided to focus on typography, which led me to do a mini course I found online. After then being asked to create an invite for a friend’s wedding, I actually enjoyed it and decided, this is what my calling is - thus Elegantly Made Co was born!
I specialise in creating luxury wedding stationery, bespoke and semi bespoke, as well as hand painted signs, which can be adapted to suit your theme and style. I’ll work closely together with you to create exactly what you are looking for, nailing those imperative details for your big day!
